Fire safety plan: more than just an evacuation plan
The fire safety plan is a regulatory document set that includes four distinct components, required for public buildings (ERP), companies subject to the French Labour Code, and fire safety system (SSI) installations.
Evacuation plan
The plan displayed in corridors and rooms, showing evacuation routes, emergency exits, fire extinguisher and fire hose reel locations, and the assembly point. ISO 23601 and NF X08-070 standard.
Fire intervention plan
Document for firefighters and security teams: building access, location of shut-off valves (water, gas, electricity), special risks and fixed fire suppression systems. Reference: arrêté of 25 June 1980.
General fire safety instructions
Mandatory posting (Article R4227-37 of the Labour Code) indicating actions in case of fire: alert, evacuation, designated officer. Must be posted on each floor and in each room.
Fire safety system (SSI) layout plans
